Dear Gertie & Family, We were sorry to hear about Gus' passing. He lived a long full life. My Dad (Herb Haberman) remembers when Gus arrived to Manitou Beach. He worked for Dr. Stipe & later took over his clinic. Dr. Stipe let Gus & Gertie live in the building in the back (which later burned down). Gus had a new house constructed in its place. My Dad & Gus enjoyed visiting with each other and always had lots to talk about. Dad said Gus was always willing to accommodate everyone. Our family sends our deepest sympathies to you at this time of loss. "With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his people. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Gertie, Eric, Dorothy, So sorry to read of Gus passing. Sincere sympathy to you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you today, hold on to all the memories and they will get you through the days ahead. Gus and Gertie had become close friends. We shared some good times.The passing of Gus saddens me deeply. My heartfelt condolences to Gertie and Eric and other members of the Uhman Family
